Description

FlyJSim continues its commitment to creating high quality aircraft for X-Plane. The Boeing 732 TwinJet Professional is based on the 737-200 Advanced, powered by JT8D-15A engines and has its own Sperry SP-77 autopilot. Version 4 is a complete update to X-Plane 12, with flight dynamics reworked, systems updated, and the most complete and refined version of the aircraft ever released. WHAT'S NEW IN V4 ---------------- - Updated Sperry SP-77 autopilot with authentic and auxiliary modes. Authentic mode (default) uses TURB instead of IAS and does not automatically level at cruising altitude - this corresponds to a real aircraft. Assist mode restores IAS and automatic altitude leveling for pilots who prefer a more controlled flight mode. - Special upgrade of the UNS-1 FMS, linked to the autopilot, as in real life, with the ability to perform all procedures (including RNAV approaches) (VOR-to-VOR only mode is still available). - MFD-640 multifunctional display for VOR-to-VOR weather radar, route and terrain display with FMS upgrade. - Integration with Libradio - realistic radio signal simulation with correct terrain masking and signal strength modeling, so your navigation aids will work as in reality. - 8.33 kHz radio frequency range - the ability to quickly replace the entire set of radio signals between the classic and 8.33 kHz range at any time, even in the middle of a flight. - Gravel Kit - a complete visual and functional gravel protection system. - Completely redesigned flight dynamics designed for X-Plane 12. - Complete visual and lighting overhaul for XP12. AN AIRPLANE FOR EVERY PILOT ------------------------ For beginners, experience one of the most iconic passenger aircraft ever built. The Boeing 732 TwinJet comes with easy-to-use checklists and an assist mode for the SP-77 autopilot. Sit back and enjoy the sights and sounds of a fully simulated interior. For today's pilots, use the UNS-1 FMS upgrade to perform complete procedures, including RNAV and LPV approaches, just as the Boeing 737-200 does in remote terrain today. For experienced pilots: navigate like real crews did - from VOR to VOR, tracking ADF needles, estimating DME distances and gliding along glide paths. Systems depth is available when needed. For experienced pilots, the steering and authentic SP-77 autopilot characteristics are simulated with incredible precision. The combination of a specially designed failure system with precise system modeling ensures that no flight is the same. From bleed engine startup to landing in dark and stormy conditions, this aircraft will keep you entertained. REALISTIC LOOK ---------------------- Hand-placed rivets, precise surface irregularities and full PBR reflections give the 732 on the apron a look that must be seen at dawn and dusk. Each external control surface is accurately animated to match real-life behavior, operating smoothly even during playback. Lighting is simulated from real 737 data - landing lights, taxi lights, turn lights, strobe lights, beacons, navigation lights, wing and logo lights at precise angles and with precise intensities. Wing flexibility is included, of course. EXCITING INTERIOR ------------------ A fully interactive, dynamically lit cockpit with detailed seats, adjustable lighting, animated doors and ramps, movable window shades and luggage compartments to get lost in. Walk up the ramp and feel like you're actually working here. The cabin sets the standard. All lighting in the cabin is individually controlled - indirect illumination of the instrument panel, fog lights under the visor, center console illumination, ceiling light and two map lights. Light flows realistically from the indicators onto nearby switches. More than 300 light bulbs light up and go out smoothly, just like real incandescent bulbs. Flying this plane at night is something special. The controls are precise and intuitive. Mouse wheel support for each knob. Conveniently adjust headings, altitudes and radio communications - even while flying online. FULL INFORMATION ABOUT THE SYSTEMS ------------------ Developed with input and testing from former 737-200 pilots and mechanics. - Sperry SP-77 autopilot with custom tuning and helm control (CWS) - JT8D-15A engine tuned for the entire range of flight modes - Surfaces are controlled via fully custom hydraulic simulation, including blow-off effects and standby modes - Air intake systems are physically modeled - they respond to temperature, altitude, wear and humidity - Sealing and environmental control are accurately simulated in automatic, standby, manual AC and DC modes - Automatic braking system corresponding to real data - Fully customized hydraulic systems and electric buses - Instrument comparator, GPWS system with testing function, warning systems, fire protection - Each indicator has a test function by pressing a button. Look for burnt out light bulbs during pre-flight preparation. MENU SYSTEM ----------- The 732 TwinJet is controlled through the FlyJSim tab in the X-Plane menu bar. Click to open drop-down menu. - V Card - Dynamic V-speeds for the selected takeoff and landing configuration - Options - Customize the aircraft, navigation systems and cockpit behavior - Doors - Controls all cabin and cargo compartment doors - Checklists - In-game checklists for each stage of flight - Maintenance - Access to ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting system - Version - Displays the currently installed version MAINTENANCE SYSTEM ------------------ The optional ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting system means you'll never have to fly a brand new airplane twice. Every flight wears out your engines, auxiliary power unit, generators, and airframe. Your technique matters. Incorrect operation of the traction will appear later. Failures are a result of their experience and not an accident, which makes them painful in the best sense of the word. FLIGHT REPRODUCTION SYSTEM -------------------- The FlyJSim field test replay system captures many more parameters than the built-in X-Plane replay system - precise movement of external control surfaces, instrument needles, switches, guards and levers are all accurately recorded even after the engine is turned off. Review your approach or simply watch the aircraft parked after a long flight
